Bringing Summer Back at Our R&M Latin Dance Party in Sydney
Who says you have to wait until summer to feel the sunshine? 🌅💃 All the colours of the sunset were present at our July 2026 Graduation night - we brought the summer vibes back to Sydney with our R&M Latin Dance Sunset Vibes Graduation Party!
It was a night filled with music, dancing, laughter and the kind of memories that remind us why we love what we do.
Even though it was winter outside, the atmosphere was anything but cold!! Our R&M family came together at The Stanley 2204 in Marrickville, dressed in warm sunset colours and ready for a night of celebration, connection and, of course, plenty of dancing!
A Night of Salsa, Bachata and Reggaeton
The dance floor was the heart of the party, with our favourite Salsa and Bachata tracks keeping everyone moving throughout the night. All familiar faces dancing with their regular partners including our newer students mixing on the dance floor, there is always something special about seeing everyone enjoying the music together, all levels of dancers mixing. As usual, we always finish with energy with Reggaeton, the party took on a whole new vibe! 🔥
These are the moments we love most: when the music takes over, everyone lets go, and the dance floor becomes a place where you can simply enjoy yourself.
More Than Just a Dance Party
At R&M Latin Dance, we believe learning Salsa and Bachata is about much more than learning steps.
It's about the friendships you make, the confidence you build, the people you meet and the experiences you share along the way.
Many of our students start their journey as complete beginners, sometimes arriving at their very first class without knowing a single dance step. Over time, they become more comfortable on the dance floor, discover new skills and find themselves becoming part of a community they look forward to seeing every week.
Our Sunset Vibes party was another chance to celebrate that journey together.
Whether you've been dancing with us for a few weeks or have been part of the R&M family for years, these events are an opportunity to step outside the classroom, enjoy social dancing and create memories with the people who share your passion.
Best Dressed Awards - Celebrating Our Students and Their Progress!
Most creative, best couple and Best dressed boy and girl on theme! Everyone made such a wonderful effort as they do every party! Congrats to the winners for July!
Our graduation parties are also a chance to celebrate the effort our students put into learning and improving. Every class takes practice, patience and a willingness to try something new. Seeing our students grow in confidence and enjoy themselves on the dance floor makes all that effort worthwhile.
And the best part? You don't need to be an advanced dancer to enjoy a night like this. You just need to be willing to get out there, enjoy the music and have fun!
We are incredibly proud of everyone who continues to challenge themselves, support their classmates and make our community what it is today.

At R&M Latin Dance, we offer structured six-week beginner Salsa and Bachata courses in Sydney, designed for people who want to learn from scratch, improve their skills and enjoy dancing in a welcoming social environment.
You can join on your own or with a partner. Our classes give you the opportunity to learn step by step, meet other people and work towards feeling more comfortable on the dance floor. And beyond the classes, there are opportunities to enjoy social dancing, meet your classmates outside the studio and become part of a community that shares your love of Latin music.
