TERMS & CONDITIONS

Dance Courses (1)

  1. Dance Courses are not Refundable due to change of mind, and are not Transferable to another person.

  2. You can upgrade your Individual Ticket (Follower or Leader) to a Couple Ticket, contact us before the course starts to sort this out directly. The ticket for dance courses cannot be downgraded from Couple to Individual Ticket (Follower or Leader).

  3. Dance Course tickets are valid for the dates set on the website when purchasing.

  4. When attending as a "single ticket", failure to reply to the message on the day before 2pm will result in the possibility of no space available in the class as a partner may not be provided, you may be asked to attend a different day if there is the option. 

  5. Premium Service it will be treated as an upgrade of Dance Courses to access to multiple classes of lower grades. The expiry date for the premium account expires at the end of the courses upgraded. Premium upgrade cannot be refunded.

  6. In case you did not use the Premium Account there is not refund or transferring of the service to another Dance Course or person.

  7. To move forward to the next grade of R&M dance courses, attendance of 80% is required unless otherwise discussed or private lessons are arranged to catch up on any lessons you missed to ensure your knowledge is complete before moving on to the next stage. 

  8. R&M reserve the right to ask any customer or dance student to leave the premises if intoxicated with alcohol or any other substances, appearing as a threat or acting inappropriately to any person in the venue, and/or causing a disruption to the classes in general.

  9. R&M cannot accept onlookers in the studio due to health and safety reasons of the venue, only customers who are booked into the course may attend in the studio and the classes, unless otherwise discussed in writing prior to the classes. One off classes are not offered.

  10. In case of physical accident circumstances before the course is starts in which the accident is relevant to being unable to dance (ie. broken leg or similar), you can be refunded up to 20% of your ticket value (depending on the gravity of the injury). Or you can pay our insurance fee of $50 (contact us to find out more) per course to be fully refunded due to accidents or important issues (this refund can be issued only before the course start), minus the small transaction fee.

  11. A refund may also be given in case of serious accident during the course that prevents you from being able to dance, and only in the case you did not already attend 80% of the Dance Course, you may be asked to explain and give proof of your injury.

Transfers:

​

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as a physical accident or any urgent reason preventing attendance, participants may request a transfer to a future course.

  • A transfer fee of $29.80 will be charged for individual participants who attend less than half of the scheduled classes of the current course.

  • For couples enrolled in the course, the transfer fee is $58.90.

  • Transfer requests must be made in writing and submitted to the course administrator between 48 - 72 hours before the scheduled class. Proof of the unforeseen circumstance may be required.

  1. Eligibility for Transfer:
    • Transfer requests will only be considered if the participant has attended less than half of the classes in the current course.

    • Participants who have attended more than half of the classes are not eligible for transfer and will not be entitled to a refund or credit for future courses.

  2. Consecutive Transfers:
    • Participants are allowed to transfer their enrollment to a future course twice consecutively, provided they meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these terms and conditions.

    • For the first and second consecutive transfers, the applicable transfer fee will be charged as mentioned above.

  3. Third Transfer:
    • Upon the third consecutive transfer request, participants will be required to pay the full amount of the course fee again to enroll in a future course.

    • Transfer requests beyond the third consecutive transfer will be subject to the same conditions as the initial enrollment, including payment of the full course fee.

Private Classes (2)

  1. Private classes are arranged on a flexible basis between the customer and the company, please attend on time, the exact address will be provided for you after booking. Times can be arranged before or after your booking through email or phone contact, but times are only confirmed after purchase.

  2. If you are booking a single ticket for the class then a partner will be provided. If you are booking a couple ticket you will dance with your partner.

  3. If you need to cancel your session time please contact the company as soon as possible, 24hrs notice is required before the time of your session to cancel or re-arrange another day in order not to lose your payment. No refunds can be offered if failed to attend the class.

  4. If the private class will expire 6 months from the date of purchase, unless different terms are discussed in writing previous to the purchase.

  5. Refunds cannot be offered for change of mind or mistake purchase, please contact us directly if you have any queries, private classes have a long expiry notice and classes can be rearranged on a flexible schedule.

  6. If the teacher or assistant/s feel unsafe or threatened at any time, the company has the right to stop the lesson at any time and ask the customer or participant/s to leave immediately.

  7. Please do not attend if intoxicated or under the influence of any other substances, if intoxication is suspected the teachers have the right to stop the lesson at any time, and no make up time will be offered in this case.

  8. Please do not bring any pets, friends or children to your session as there is no waiting room available, the session is for the person or couple that has booked, any others that show up will be asked to wait outside.

  9. Please make the teacher before booking if you have a longterm injury or disability to ensure that the classes are fit for you.

Gift Cards (3)

  1. Gift cards are available on request, and can be customised to a celebratory event if desired (Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc), you can contact R&M to discuss the nature of your gift card and service, this is available to couples and individuals.

  2. The name on the gift card must be the Person or Couple that will be claiming the services.

  3. The gift cards must be claimed within 120 days from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise in writing before purchase.

  4. Gift Cards cannot be used for discounted products, only on full price products and services.

  5. Gift Cards cannot be used for R&M Dance Courses (Group Classes in Studio), due to limited availability, or unless previously discussed.

  6. Gift Cards are NOT transferrable to another person or refundable.

  7. Christmas gift cards will expire 6 months after date of purchase.

  8. Please present ID with your first lesson and be ready to show a digital or printed copy of the gift card.

  9. R&M Latin Dance teachers and team are not liable for lost of stolen gift cards.

Pictures and Videos in the classes & events  (4)

  1. If you are enrolled in our dance courses and classes (meaning anytime after the purchase of a course or a class) all the pictures and videos taken are property of R&M Latin Dance and not exclusive to the students. The data will be used as promotional material and not for a third party use.

  2. If you participate in our dance events, all the pictures and videos taken are property of R&M Latin Dance and not exclusive to the participants. The data will be used as promotional material for R&M Latin Dance website/s and socials media, and not for a third party use.

  3. If you would like to be exempt from pictures and videos for public use, please explicitly let us know in writing by email rm.latindance@gmail.com before attending any of our classes or events. Any change of mind after you have agreed to the terms must be in writing and does not apply to any pictures or videos posted BEFORE this time, meaning pictures in the past posts on social platforms cannot be removed. 

  4. R&M Latin Dance reserve all copyrights to each video and image taken in any of our events and classes. 

  5. R&M Latin Dance are not responsible for any photography or video taken or used by other companies or website.

Booking Fees Policies

Regarding partial refunds, please note that customers may not be eligible to receive a "full partial refund" due to the inclusion of third-party booking fees imposed by Stripe, our payment processing partner.
